January … A Great Month for Organizational Review

If a review has not already been completed, now is the time for an All-Hands review as to how the organization performed in 2023. Depending on the size of the organization, orchestrate a performance review that communicates where the organization excelled and where there is room for improvement and where it failed. All or most of the organizational measures should be discussed with “hard core” statistics supporting any summary.

Another approach is to have each department head brief their 2023 successes, shortcomings, and planned changes in 2024 to eliminate challenges that hindered greater success. Depending on the department, a discussion that included internal and external customer feedback is critical. Again, statistics would support any summary.

Lastly, any visuals presented during the review should be posted on the internal website as a reminder and measure for current and future operations.
